Allan Tang, CPA, CA

I had the pleasure of working with Monikka when I was the Sr. Director, Assistant Controller at a large publicly traded company and she was a Senior Manager at a Big-4 consulting firm. She led the team that helped us land the opening balance sheet and initial accounting for a highly complex, $6.5B acquisition of a large private company. The engagement was challenging, not only for its technical complexity, but also in terms of a compressed timeline, staffing challenges, and remote work transition in a world that was still adjusting to Covid.

Monikka and the team that she led rose to the challenge, and she displayed all the hard and soft skills that make an exceptional accounting leader in today’s world. Not only was she highly proficient on technical issues, but she handled a very stressful situation with professionalism and grace. She is a strong, team focused people leader, which ultimately translated into a high quality work product. Ultimately, we were successful, in no small part due to her significant contributions to the project. She is a top tier, well rounded accounting professional, and as a public company CAO today, I would readily trust her with my team’s biggest challenges
